Tasting—Ch Montauriol Rigaud

Name: Ch Montauriol Rigaud

Variety: Granache, Syrah

Region: Corbieres

Country: France

Year: N/A

Price: $7.95

Store/wine critic/winery review: The white raspberry and peach notes have a creamy but fresh profile in this rosé. Hints of spice and apricot meld together on the lingering finish.

My review: This wine smelled very floral and fruity, like rose and strawberries. It was a light wine but a little fuller body than the Torrontes. It was acidic and tasted of rose and raspberries. This was a very cool and refreshing wine but it would probably taste better with food.

I tasted this wine without food.
